I often hang out at Pacific Mall to do some people watching since there's just all shapes and sizes of them just wandering about. This was actually just two pages of sketches but I thought it'd work well as a compositional thing.
The day before I stopped by to do these drawings, I counted 3 police cars and a large van on the way in. They were investigating a shooting that went on in one of the cellphone retail shops. The area was yellow taped and every store owner and employee in the area were questioned. As tempting as it was to just go and put this on paper, it'd have been quite rude on my part. |
