All the above is a series of in-progress screenshots and my own commentary. Walkthroughs are awesome in the sense you get to see how people tick when they paint, so I thought it'd be fun do one.

By no means am I telling people exactly how they should create their own pieces of artwork, although I do have one or two non-art related tips to throw in for good measure. All aspiring artists have my encouragement to learn the ropes, make all the mistakes they can, and try different methods and ideas to keep things fresh. It's far worth it for artists to make their own little self-discoveries in the creative process; once it hits them, then they own it.

The level of detail in the backround just kills me.

Also Shut up and Explode is such a good song. D: I should go listen to that right now, even.

Its a nice tutorial regardless in the sense it gives you an idea on how to approach things. I always use tutorials just to figure out some things as I always tend to do things in unorthodox ways, sort of speak.

hah i love the choice of music while workin on the piece 'shutup n explode' u definitly got the exploding in there lol loves it. n i must say the song is pretty badass aside from them singing runaway for half of the song its pretty awesome n catchy. Bonen puts me in 'awe' the animation ohh man leaves me speechless*tear* lol im pretty sure u knw wat i mean

This is very helpful to a person who does digitally paint. The whole background and character placement thing is a good thing to keep in mind, as I found myself in the same situation countless amount of times. Anyways, this walkthrough was extremely well done and informative. Keep it up.
