Artist's Comments

My brain fart of the evening.

I'm trying my hand at t-shirt design and thought I'd go for something thought-provoking as an illustration.

Maybe I should try simplifying it as a graphic design instead.

Version 2 to come... later.

For a t-shirt, you might want to try the knowledge tree featured by itself, with the roots branching out down the center and bottom of the shirt. I don't think the arm is necessary to get the idea across, and eliminating would make the composition better for a shirt, I think.

Nice going with the light bulbs growing from buds to full fruits.

Yeah, I tend to agree- it's a really cute idea but the arm is really more of a distraction... especially the not-quite-a-letter thing it's attached to.

thought invoking for sure. Nicely done, can't wait to see version 2, but I'm really liking this one. It's more stimulating I think. Less in your face flare and more grab you by the brain stem.

But that's just me.

I tend to agree with other comments about the thing the arm is attached to, however all in all it's a nice picture. Something almost haunting about how serene 'her' face is while one of her fruits is being plucked.

simple and very expressive idea :)

Think of where you want the image to be, how you want to see it worn and then figure out how to present your concept, which i dig btw.

Sometime sketching where on the t-shirt you think it should be might help.
